Lock an unlock the disk

if the disk has been encrypted, you must enter correct password before you start use it .

1. Click Start > Programs >KernSafe> Disk Defensor>Disk Defensor; to start up Disk Defensor, choose which disk partition you want to use, pitch on it and then Click the 'Unlock' button.
   
   
2. Enter correct password
   
   
3. After you use the disk, you should be click the 'lock' button to protect it , after that no one can access it without the correct password .
   
   

CD Encryption

1. Click Start > Programs >KernSafe> Disk Defensor>Disk Defensor; to start up Disk Defensor;
2. Choose CD Encryption from Operations,The CD drivers letter which on your computer will appears under CD Encryption;
   
   
3. when you attempt to mount an encryption image , a window will pop up awake you enter a password you specified.
   
   
4. Enter correct password, you can use it as usual.

Encrypt and Decrypt Images

1. Click Start > Programs >KernSafe> Disk Defensor>Disk Defensor; to start up Disk Defensor;
   
   
2. Select CD Encryption under Operations,and then choose Encrypt CD Image from Images Encryption,Then the Encryption setings will apears on the right, select a source CD/DVD image,and a destination CD/DVD path ,Click Encrypt button;
   
   
3. Every time you Encrypt your disk , you should set a new password. For security reasons, we suggest you choose a password that is hard one to guess but easy for you to remember. Make sure you don’t forget it because it is required when you mount the image . The maximum length of the password can be 32.
   
   
4. Click 'ok' button to Encrypt Image file.
5. After encryption,it will pop out the confirmation window prompting "Encrypt cd/dvd image complete" ,click "OK" to confirm and close the window.
6. if you do not want to protect the image file any more,please choose Decrypt CD image from image Encryption, the Decryption Settings will apears on the right, select the Souce cd/dvd image file which you want to decrypt ,and the destination cd/dvd image file which you want to create, clike the Decrypt button;
   
   

Encrypt and decrypt disk

note: during encryption or decryption,force exiting the program will induce your date lost?

1. Click Start > Programs >KernSafe> Disk Defensor>Disk Defensor; to start up Disk Defensor, choose which disk partition you want to protect, pitch on it and then Click the 'Encrypt' button.If the date on the disk is unimportance,and you are not want it any more, you can tap 'Enc Format' button, it will format the driver quickly by encrpytion tachniques. after that all the date on this disk will lost.

4. When done the identifier is change from 'Normal' to 'Encrypted' , and if you do not want to protect the disk any more, you can click the 'Decrypt' button to remove the Protect. you can tap 'Dec Format' button format this disk, warning:tap 'Dec Format' button all the date on the disk will lost.
